As a registered NZ Tax Agent, we have direct communication channels with the Inland Revenue Department. Once ‘Linked’ to our agency, we are able to access your Inland Revenue online information and can track as your return is processed. By being with a registered tax agent, most clients (those with an unblemished record with IRD), are covered by an extension of the time permitted to file a tax return.

We work purely on time, therefore the less the, the less cost to you. Some activities attract standard charges such as Reminders, Linking File set up, annual administration, but everything gelse is purely based on the work required.

There is also a small annual software levy to cover our subscription to CCH Trust services.

Managing Tax Time

We largely operate on a first-in/ first-out basis as clients bring or send in their annual work they are listed’ and that establishes the order for our work flow. At times we have to juggle work around to meet extreme circumstances, and provided it does not unduly compromise other clients, we normally have the flexibility to deal with these situations.

Accounting Systems

The team at Action Tax is familiar with a wide range of computer bookkeeping systems both online and off. We are happy to support clients no matter their operating system. Selecting a system can also be tricky and we will assist clients to select a system which offers them the most effective and cost efficient method of accounting.
